These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of uokay ("the Service"), a monitoring platform for websites, scheduled jobs, TLS certificates, and AI endpoints, operated from the Netherlands ("uokay", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.
uokay runs scheduled checks against endpoints you configure, evaluates the results against assertions you define, and sends alerts to channels you connect. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Monitoring is a detection tool, not a guarantee: we do not warrant that every failure of your systems will be detected or alerted on.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by team members you invite. You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for business purposes only.
AI endpoint checks use API keys you supply ("bring-your-own-key"). You warrant that you are authorized to use those keys and to have the Service call the endpoints you configure. Calls made with your keys are billed to you by your AI provider; you can set a monthly cost cap in the dashboard and checks stop when the cap is reached. Keys are encrypted at rest and used only to execute the checks you configure. See the security page for details.
You agree not to:
We may suspend accounts that violate this section, with notice where practicable.
Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and, for customers requiring one, the Data Processing Agreement. You retain all rights to the configurations, prompts, and data you submit. We retain check results for the period defined by your plan and delete account data after account deletion, subject to legal retention duties.
We aim for high availability of the Service itself but do not offer an uptime SLA except where separately agreed in writing. Support is provided by email at [email protected].
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including losses caused by missed or delayed alerts, false positives, or downtime of your own systems. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence.
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may terminate or suspend the Service for material breach of these Terms, or discontinue the Service with at least 30 days' notice, in which case prepaid unused fees are refunded pro rata.
We may update these Terms; material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before taking effect. These Terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
